About UsFirst Electronics Ltd. opened its doors for business in the year 1986 in a small warehouse located at 85 Dynamic Drive in Scarborough, led by the Founder and President, Doug Fairbanks. His ambition was to source/supply high quality products and equipment for the Printed Circuit Board Industry in Canada with support and service being the focal point of the business. In 1989, the success of First Electronics Ltd. required the business to move into a larger, newly built facility located at 130 Dynamic Drive. The new facility was custom designed to maintain and support the products of our valued suppliers and is strategically located in the heart of the PCB Industry in Canada where First Electronics still resides today. In 1996, the untimely passing of Mr. Fairbanks was a massive loss for both the industry and the business. Doug’s wife, Diane Fairbanks whom had spent many years by his side and was well respected throughout the industry, decided that she would carry on his legacy. Diane, who herself had spent many years in the service industry, brought that experience, along with her knowledge of the business and took control of the company. Diane surrounded herself with experienced personnel, both existing and new, which included her daughter Corrinne whom also shared her passion, and never looked back. First Electronics has been serving their valued customers for almost 30 years and will be celebrating this great achievement and milestone in this coming year 2016. The objectives and values that started this business almost 30 years ago remain in place today, and it is what has made First Electronics Ltd. so successful.
